Lieu & Legacy is designed as a metadata-first organizational workspace. We store what exists, where it is located, who manages it, and what should happen next. We do not store raw estate documents, passwords, credentials, bank logins, full account numbers, or sensitive document uploads.
What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and the information you voluntarily provide through our dashboard forms. This includes organizational metadata about your estate, corporate entities, advisors, and related records.
How We Protect Your Data
Encryption
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
Access Control
Only you can access your data. We do not share, sell, or rent your information to third parties.
Minimal Collection
We collect only the metadata you choose to provide. No raw document uploads, no passwords, no credentials.
End-to-End Principles
Your data belongs to you. You can export or delete it at any time.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.
